RUMOR MILL AND OTHER STORIES:

Supposedly, there is a possibility of a Winger reunion!  While it is possible, it may or may not be likely as Reb Beach is already in another band.  But then again, if nothing else, anything is possible!

Former XYZ front man Terry Ilous has made a name change, and has created a new sound!!  Now going by the name Flynn, he has created a sound that is raw and beautiful.  Very tasteful, and it shows a creative side that is vastly underestimated!!  Check out his site for more info:  http://www.flynn-ontheweb.com/.  Flynn has such amazing talent, and such a wonderful voice!  Not many people sound that way, and this is one person who knows how to use talent!

Steve Perry On the Web?!  Can this be true for all of us long time Journey fans?! Well, not as of yet.  There is a possibility that there may be a Steve Perry website in the future, but as far as we know, there is nothing at this moment in time, and from our understanding, at this time, he does not communicate on the web, and that means, anyone saying they are Steve Perry via e-mail  or instant messenger are lying!!  If we are able to find out anything that is true, such as he website being up, we will be sure to let you know!

Ok, latest newz bits courtesy of their website is this:  There is a soon to be up and coming tour which will feature Jack Russell, Michael Lardie, and new guys Ty Longley- On Guitar,  Krys Baratto- On Bass,  and Francis Ruiz- On Drums.  For more information as to where you can check these new guys out and get more information on them: Check out the website above!

Ok, if nothing else, this band deserves credit for BEING ABLE TO STICK IT OUT!!  The debate rages on over who is a better singer, Stephen Pearcy or Jizzy.  Well, I've experienced both, and I honestly side with Jizzy.  He brings a new vitality to the band that has been long missing!  It's refreshing to say the least.  Plus he brings a down to earth element aboard that really fits the band!  However, in the face of the debate, it may appear as though the band and it's music may get swallowed.  (Yea right!!)  AS IF!!!!!!!!  There is even debate amongst fans as to whether or not the name Ratt should still be used.  But lets get one thing cleared up.  Stephen Pearcy left of his own free will, and apparently, he has done this before, so to say that they should beg him to come back is a bit rediculous. The new music is surprisingly fresh!  Not your typical RATT, but it's never good to stay in the same vein, and they deserve all the good luck that they've had so far!
QUEENSRYCHE: Reviewz:

Q2K comes out in 1999, featuring new guitarist Kelly Gray ( I hope that  is right!), and there were many who were a little wary of the new line up.  I admit it, so was I!! So what did I do?  The same I've done with most Queensryche albums, steal them from my brother, or go out and buy it, THEN listen to it!   I had to listen, just to hear the new sound.  Needless to say, by the end of the album, I was blown away!  But then I thought, they can't be this kick ass live!  So I am blasting the radio, and I hear they will be at The House Of Blues (http://Www.HOB.com)  June 9 of 2000. Ok, so when I hear something I want to hear, I get excited!  (Not good behind the wheel of a car!!) So I went and bought tickets.  Curiosity maybe, or I needed a fix.    But I've lost the point.  I want to focus on kelly Gray here.  I had my doubts going in and seeing if this guy was good or not, and what better way than to see them live??  Well, what can I say?  For the next 2 + hours, I was completely blown away, this guy is amazing!  And don't get me wrong, I adore Chris DeGarmo!   I think that guy is one of the greatest guitarists there are!  After June 9th, I also have to rank Kelly up there.  He has a style that's all his own, and he just plays so flawlessly! I'm still amazed when I think about that!  My ass got kicked so hard, I dragged myself back 2 nights later for more!  And this time, armed with a camera stashed on me, I stayed up front near the speakers. (bad idea) And even though I had a headache, I stayed put.  What I'm trying to say is, just because the person is new, doesn't mean they suck.  Kelly is the perfect compliment to a well seasoned, STILL HOT,  band. He works well, and he has such showmanship!  Oh damn!  He knows how to  get an audience goin!  Anyways, for further information about this QUEENSRYCHE,  check them out ok?!        HTTP://WWW.QUEENSRYCHE.COM

Oh yea!  in my humble (ahem) opinion, this album ranks right up there with Operation: Mindcrime!!!  And hey, throw me a bone would ya?  If you can, let them know I sent ya ok?

In the immortal words of my brother:  *cluck*  *cluck*  *cluck*  (Now I've done it!!!)
